Course Description:

nts will learn about careers in the
field of animal science, classes a
nd grades of livestock, animal
genetics and heredity, animal anatomy and physiology, animal
nutrition for ruminants and non
-
ruminants, and animal
diseases and parasites. The students wi
ll also be required to
participate in labs where they will demonstrate safe
practices
and knowledge of scientific principles and methods as it
pertains to the Animal Science Industry. This course is
designed for students in the Animal Science pathway to e
arn
their fourth science in an agriculture class.
